600 block of Sequoia Lane – A woman said her husband had physically and sexually assaulted her. The 26-year-old man was taken to jail on a charge of domestic violence.
900 block of Paxford Place – A 53-year-old man Thursday was taken to a hospital after he threw chairs and knives, creating a risk to other residents.
100 block of South Diamond Street – Officers were dispatched to a location regarding a suicidal man. He was transported to a hospital.
100 block of Sturges Avenue – A man Thursday said two men approached him in the parking lot of a business and inside a store and told him to leave “Rico” alone or he might get hurt. The 53-year-old victim said the two men fled and he was not hurt during the verbal confrontation.
900 block of Willow Street – A woman Thursday told officers someone broke a window on her vehicle and stole her Nintendo Switch.
Reba Street – Officers were dispatched Thursday to a location in reference to a man sleeping on the porch of a residence. The 38-year-old man said he was just reading and the residence was his friend’s house. Officers found a syringe and burnt spoon and the man was issued two summonses on charges of drug paraphernalia and possessing drug abuse instruments and was released.
500 block of Warren Road – A woman said a man took items from her residence and she has made numerous attempts to contact the man who she now believes lives in Bucyrus.
300 block of West Fourth Street – Officers were dispatched to a report of cruelty to animals regarding a dead cat who a concerned caller said she believed a man harmed due his history of harming animals.
500 block of Stocking Avenue – Officers were told someone stole a bicycle and entered a home through window.
200 block of Ohio Street – A suspicious male was driving in the area and said, “Hey baby” to a 13-year-old girl as he opened the door to his vehicle. He did not tell the victim to get in the vehicle. The car was a gray Pontiac.
100 block of West Raleigh Avenue – A woman reported to police Thursday a 3-year-old boy walking in the area without any parents around. She saw the father pick up the child and walk down Raleigh and said she has witnessed this before. The mother said the child must have walked out the back door while they were inside the house. A copy of the report was to be forwarded to Richland County Children Services.
500 block of Bryant Avenue – A mother said her 15-year-old son ran away from home.
North Foster Street – Juveniles were believed to have broken door glass at a man’s residence Thursday after throwing rocks.
200 block of Bowman Street – A woman reported her 13-year-old daughter had gone to a “hotel” party and had yet to return. The girl later returned home, police said.
400 block of Lawnsdale Avenue – A woman said she heard her cat meowing outside. She looked out the window and saw her cat climbing out of the trunk of her vehicle and she discovered two cases of water had been stolen .
500 block of Reed Street – A 74-year-old woman told officers early Friday morning someone stole her push mower from her locked garage after forcing entry.
500 block of Reed Street – A man found tools stolen from unlocked, built-in tool boxes from two vehicles on his property Friday.
100 block of Bowman Street – A man reported his lawn mower stolen from his property. He said he heard a loud car pull into his driveway early Friday morning.
800 block of Woodville Road – A man said he met with two males to buy marijuana and he pulled out $500 to pay the males when they asked to hold his cash and replica pistol which was actually a BB gun to do a Snapchat video. The suspects pointed the gun at the man buying marijuana and fled and said not to follow them or they would shoot him.
