ACTON — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Marijuana Eradication Team and Palmdale Station deputies served a search warrant on Thursday, in the 32700 block of El Sastre Road in Acton, in regard to an illegal marijuana cultivation operation.

During the search warrant execution, approximately 2,000 marijuana plants were found inside the location and in an adjacent outdoor greenhouse.

In addition to the plants, detectives found several rifles, many of which were assault-style, as well as more than a dozen handguns and approximately 10,000 rounds of ammunition in various calibers.

Detectives also recovered dozens of high-capacity rifles, pistols and drum-style magazines. As a result of the discoveries, three adults were taken into custody and are facing numerous weapons-related and drug charges.
