THE WHAT? Puerto Rican swimwear brand La Gotta has launched its first CBD-based sun care line, said to help maintain healthy, glowing skin.

THE DETAILS The Made in the USA, reef-safe and cruelty free line Antioxidant Facial Sunscreen is said to be vegan, provide protection from UVA and UVB light and contain 100mg of CBD, green tea and vitamins C and E.

THE WHY? The brand said in a statement that its motivation is to protect its customers through what they wear and use – in the same way its swimsuits are made from recycled plastic to reflect the brand’s focus on the environment, so too is this sunscreen designed to protect both the ocean and its wearer.
