The Tallahassee Police Department arrested two people and collected 40 pounds of marijuana and three guns after serving a residential search warrant Saturday.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, which gave few details, the Special Investigations Section and TAC Team conducted the search and found “residents were armed with high powered rifles and selling large amounts of marijuana. Investigators found an AK-47 rifle, an AR-15 rifle with a drum magazine and a 9mm handgun.”
In addition to the drugs, they also found drug paraphernalia.
A city of Tallahassee press release lists Javon O’Neal, 24 and Kelton Forbes, 22, as the two who were arrested.
O’Neal was arrested for trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house, possession of synthetic narcotics with intent to sell and possession of ammo/weapon by a Florida delinquent adult felon.
Forbes was arrested for trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house, possession of synthetic narcotics with intent to sell and possession of ammo/weapon by a Florida delinquent adult felon.
