DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Green Dragon, a leading Colorado dispensary retailer, recently opened two new stores in the Denver Metro Area: The Boulder and the Cherry Creek neighborhoods of Denver.
Green Dragon’s Boulder store, formerly Boulder Botanics, is located at 1750 30th St., serving the bustling commercial area surrounding the Crossroads Shopping Center. The Cherry Creek location, formerly Caregivers for Life, is located at 310 Saint Paul Street, and is the only dispensary serving both recreational customers and medical patients in the upscale shopping and residential district of Denver known as Cherry Creek.
Green Dragon acquired both store locations to bolster its mission of providing more consumers and patients with access to quality cannabis at the best prices in a friendly, inviting retail experience.
With a total of 15 store locations and over a million customers in 2019 alone, Green Dragon is rapidly becoming one of the most recognized dispensary groups in Colorado—known by its loyal patrons for its approachable service, expansive product selection and affordable pricing. Green Dragon co-CEO Alex Levine is eager to be bringing the Green Dragon experience to Boulder and Cherry Creek.
“Both Boulder and Cherry Creek are vibrant, growing cultural centers that we have had our eye on for years, and we’re thrilled to finally be a part of these communities,” Levine said. “We look forward to becoming an integral partner in these neighborhoods with renovated store designs and carefully curated products that will meet the lifestyles and interests of local residents.”
Since its founding in 2009, Green Dragon’s leadership has watched the cannabis retail industry evolve from the early challenges of the medical marijuana market to today’s robust recreational industry. In order to ensure steady growth while adapting to new developments, Green Dragon has stayed laser-focused on its core value of improving the shopping experience for its customers.
“Over the past 10 years, one thing has remained constant: The need for a better dispensary experience,” Levine said. “The old-school dispensary model is outdated, and we’ve changed the customer experience to provide no high-pressure sales, consistent lower pricing and innovations like virtual queues and improved packaging. We are constantly refining our store concepts to offer our consumers the best possible shopping experience.”
Continuing its accelerated growth, Green Dragon plans to open 1-2 additional retail locations per year, begin wholesale for its in-house label Higher Focus Brands and add another cultivation facility. Beyond its Colorado expansion, Green Dragon’s parent company recently acquired a Florida MMTC license and is currently in the process of building out its Florida operations.
