BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – EBRSO Narcotics has been very busy lately as recent arrests show.
A lengthy investigation led to the arrest of three men, Deonte ‘lil Duggie’ Johnson, Jalon Crockett and Traylon Crockett.
The investigation centered around a marijuana distribution network.
On Thursday, August 6, agents used five search warrants and were able to find the following:
- $117,464
- 26 pounds of marijuana (street value approx. $52,000)
- Glock 9mm semiautomatic handgun
- Titan .25 caliber semiautomatic handgun
The search warrants were administered at these locations:
- 1121 N. 38th
- 4366 Jefferson Ave.
- 4365 Jefferson Ave.
- 4353 Jefferson Ave.
- 1025 Shadow Bluff
The names and charges for each individual is listed below:
- Deonte Johnson aka “lil Duggie” (7-22-96)
- PWITD Sch. I (Marijuana)
- Poss. of Firearm with CDS
- Jalon Crockett (5-10-97)
- PWITD Sch. I (Marijuana)
- Traylon Crockett (10-14-00)
- PWITD Sch. I (Marijuana)
The multi-agency investigation included the work of EBRSO SWAT, EBRSO K-9, EBRSO SCAT, LSP Narcotics, LSP Fugitive Task Force, BRPD SRT, ATF Task Force, DEA Task Force, ERBSO Air Support, EBRSO General Detectives and EBRSO Homicide.
