Doctors in Louisiana would be able to recommend medical marijuana for any patient, instead of only those seeking treatment for certain diseases and disorders, under a bill headed for the governor’s desk.
The bill (H.B. 819), by Rep. Larry Bagley (R), would authorize access to medical cannabis for any condition that a doctor “considers debilitating to an individual patient and is qualified through his medical education and training to treat.”
