It is reportedly the largest marijuana seizure ever at the Canadian border. Customs and border protection authorities arrested a man allegedly trying to smuggle $20 million of marijuana into the United States. 

Prabjot Nagra, 26, who is both an Indian citizen and Canadian resident, was arrested coming over the Peace Bridge in a Canadian truck on June 25.

Authorities say an x-ray found some abnormalities with the cargo load. 

They searched and found more than 8,000 vacuum-sealed bags containing 9,472 pounds of marijuana, according to officials. 

Nagra is facing possession with intent to distribute. He faces anywhere from 10 years to life behind bars.
