Hofler is being held on $150,000 bond and was arraigned Monday. He has two pending cases in addition to the new charges. In 2019, he was charged with firing a paintball gun at a group of Xavier High School students at a Middletown Dunkin Donuts. Two months later, he was charged with reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured car, making an improper turn and possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, after he livestreamed himself speeding and crashing his vehicle on I-95 in Groton.
