CENTER LINE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A new marijuana growth business is opening in Center Line, and with it will come more than 80 new jobs.
Future Grow Solutions is a cannabis business will be located at the former Charter Steel facility, which has been renovated into a brand new cannabis complex. It was purchased in 2019 by the CEO of Future Grow Solutions, Mark Savaya.
The complex will hold marijuana growing, production and provisioning. Additionally, the business will lease and sell supplies, provide staffing and other business necessities to cannabis growers, cultivators and investors.
“The City of Center Line has worked for over three years to create opportunities for the Medical Marijuana industry,” said Dennis Champine, City Manager/City Clerk for the City of Center Line. “The city has developed reasonable guidelines for potential Medical Marijuana businesses. The application and approval process for MMFL permits is seamless, fair, and unbiased. We welcome Future Grow Solutions to the community and are appreciative of their investment.”
Along with bringing 80 new jobs to the area, the business is expected to provided nearly $500,000 in taxes and licenses to the city of Center Line, a release states.
