Four men have been arrested by the Rhode Island State Police on multiple marijuana distribution charges.
According to the State Police, the arrests are the result of an investigation initiated by members of the Rhode Island State Police Intelligence Unit resulting in the execution of court-authorized search warrants.
The warrants were executed at 37 Norfolk Road; 160 Windemere Way; Warwick, 610 Matteson Road; 3373 Flat River Road, Coventry; 41 Industrial Drive, West Warwick; and 49 Dyer Avenue, North Kingstown.
The Search of these locations resulted in the seizure 65 mature marijuana plants; 11 pounds of usable marijuana; 4.75 pounds of butane honey oil (BHO); $29,000 in United States currency; and marijuana packaging and grow related equipment
According to the State Police, the investigation is ongoing and further charges may be forthcoming.
The arrests and charges are as follows:
Jordon Leighty, age 37; of 37 Norfolk Road, Warwick, was arrested on the charges of:
- Possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance-marijuana
- Possession of marijuana in excess of 5 kilograms
- Possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance-Butane Honey Oil (BHO)
- Possession of scheduled II controlled substance
- Controlled substance conspiracy
Nicholas Aldrich, age 37; of 160 Windemere Way, Warwick, was arrested on the charges of:
- Possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance-marijuana
- Possession of marijuana 1 to 5 kilos
- Possession of marijuana 1 to 5 kilos
- Possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance-Butane Honey Oil (BHO)
- Controlled substance conspiracy
Eric Swanson, age 39; of 610 Matteson Road, Coventry, was arrested on the charges of:
- Controlled substance conspiracy
Noah Swanson, age 36; of 3373 Flat River Road, Coventry, RI was arrested on the charges of:
- Controlled substance conspiracy
