QUINCY (WGEM) — The second recreational marijuana dispensary is now open in Quincy.
RiSe at 27th and Broadway had originally planned to open on January 1.
It took them until January 15 to get their license but chose not to open until now.
Store managers say they opened at 8 a.m. and there were about ten people in line.
“I feel like it’s not fair for them to be able to tell us that we shouldn’t be able to do something that’s healthy and good for us and creates peace and truly makes people happy I mean, so it’s pretty exciting, the medical of it’s really exciting for me too,” said Stephanie Morrison, RiSe Dispensary Customer.
RiSe employees say they do have a limited supply at this time.
