A Tuesday night traffic stop yielded more than a ticket after officers reportedly found the suspects in possession of more than 220 pounds of cannabis and $10,000 in cash.

California Highway Patrol officers Montoya and Whitley pulled over a box truck on Highway 50 in Cameron Park and during the contact the officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle, which led to the discovery, a CHP Facebook post states. The driver and passenger were arrested on suspicion of  unlawful possession of cannabis for sale.
