MACOMB — Police arrested 32-year-old Sean Hayes Wednesday evening for the possession and delivery of 50 grams of cannabis, as well as a scale coated in methamphetamine residue.

Hayes was stopped after disregarding a traffic signal according to arrest logs, and police said he was driving a rental car. After detecting what police described as a strong odor of raw cannabis, police said officers found the cannabis and paraphernalia in Hayes’ rental vehicle.

Field tests of the scale tested positive for methamphetamine residue, and Hayes was taken to McDonough County Jail for holding. Bond information is not available at this time.
