Nicholas A. Moore was apprehended by U.S. Marshals and is accused of trying to breaking into several businesses.
CANTON A man suspected of breaking into several Stark County businesses, including The Botanist medical cannabis dispensary, has been apprehended.
The U.S. Marshals Service on Thursday morning arrested Nicholas A. Moore at a residence in the 600 block of Garfield Avenue SW, said Canton police Lt. Dennis Garren.
Moore, 30, of Brush Place NE, was wanted by Canton police on four charges of breaking and entering. The Stark County Sheriff’s Office also had a warrant for his arrest on a charge of grand theft, two charges of safecracking, two charges of vandalism, two charges of breaking and entering, a charge of theft, and a charge of receiving stolen property.

Moore broke into several businesses between Jan. 5 and Jan. 27, according to court records. He stole $994 from a safe at a Take 5 Oil Change and took a truck from a U-Haul business.
He’s also accused of using a sledge hammer to enter The Botanist dispensary in Canton but did not get farther than the lobby.
Moore was being held Thursday at the Stark County Jail.
