Police are on the lookout for multiple suspects after a Vernon cannabis store was broken into overnight.

Flora Cannabis has had to temporarily close its location at 5301 25 Ave., near Buy-Low Foods, after a break-in left parts of the store damaged.

“In the end, the perpetrators made off with a small amount of petty cash from the tills, a small sum of

money from the ATM, and a limited amount of cannabis product,” states the company in a press release.

Footage of the theft was caught on camera and has been turned over to the police, according to the release, and an active investigation has started.

“Our contractors are already on site and we are optimistic that it will be business as usual by the end of

the week,” the company states.

“We ask that if you have any information related to this event or have witnessed any suspicious activity,

to please contact Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171,” they add.
