Westfield Police Department

On June 7, Amanda M. Ritchie, 38 was arrested for alleged second-degree harassment.

At 9:34 p.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute on Chestnut Street. After investigation, Ritchie was arrested and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

Gowanda Police Department

The Gowanda PD would like to announce that fireworks are illegal. They have received numerous complaints about fireworks. They alarm elderly residents, veterans, and pets and are a nuisance to many residents.

“Please be courteous to your neighbors and our community by not using fireworks in the village,” Reads a report from the department. “Fireworks are illegal and usage of them may result in your arrest.”
