Have you ever wondered how cannabis topicals and body care products are made? Have you ever wanted to make them for yourself? We visited Cannabis Basics in Seattle, Washington to find out how.

Ah Warner, founder of Cannabis Basics, has been making body care products infused with hempseed oil rich in Omegas 3 and 6 since 1995. Until recently her products were completely cannabinoid free, but with the passing of recreational cannabis laws she has begun infusing the therapeutic and aromatic compounds from psychoactive cannabis into her award-winning products.

Recently she invited us to her laboratory to show us how she makes her most popular product, The Remedy Pain Stick. It was the first product from Cannabis Basics to utilize CBD, THC-A, and THC along with the natural fragrances found in the cannabis flower in an effort to combat stress, pain and inflammation.

Have you ever tried to make cannabis topicals or found them beneficial to your health? Check out the video for Ah’s step-by-step guide and share your experience in the comments section below. And don’t forget to subscribe to Leafly’s video channel for the next episode of the Cannabis Craftsmanship series and more!
