Deputies are searching for several suspects accused of robbing a business marijuana grow in Patterson on Sunday, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department said.Deputies arrested three armed suspects. The sheriff’s department said there are as many as 12 suspects in all. The sheriff’s department said a call came in around 1:30 a.m. from the security guard of the legal marijuana grow saying an estimated nine people with masks, rifles and handguns broke into the grow. Law enforcement got to the grow about 30 minutes later as the security guard stayed in place.Deputies spent the morning clearing buildings and looking for the remaining suspects. No shots were fired and no one was injured, deputies told KCRA 3 on Sunday morning. The sheriff’s department said it recovered two AK-47s, an AR-15 and three handguns at the scene. Deputies say the marijuana grow has a permit with Stanislaus County. According to the sheriff’s department, someone tried to break into the business earlier this month. Nothing was stolen, but a security guard was attacked, the sheriff’s department said.Around the same time the marijuana business was robbed on Sunday, a dispensary in the Crows Landing was also targeted by thieves, the sheriff’s department said.
