A medical marijuana dispensary is coming to Beaver County next week.
Liberty, a medical marijuana dispensary owned by Holistic Industries, a private medical marijuana operator based out of Washington, D.C., will officially open at 2320 Sheffield Road in Aliquippa on Monday.
Holistic Industries operates under an Essential Service Designation, making it an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to social distancing requirements, Liberty will limit the number of patients permitted in its building.
“To not exceed more than 10 people in the store at once, no more than 4-5 people can enter the store in order to keep a 1:1 patient to guide ratio,” according to a release.
Masks are required for both patients and staff who enter the facility.
Additionally, Liberty will offer curbside pick-up and online ordering options for existing patients with Holistic Industries.
New patients must make a first in-store purchase so a user profile can be created. After the first in-store purchase, a patient’s identification will be scanned and patients will be able to utilize curbside and online ordering alternatives.
Holistic Industries has reportedly hired 15 positions, both full and part time, at its Aliquippa dispensary.
Liberty will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
