BREEZE Provisioning Center, Oakland County’s first recreational marijuana retailer, is set to open at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Hazel Park, the Main Street Hazel Park posted on its Facebook page.

Located at 24517 John R. between Woodward Heights and Ten Mile Road, BREEZE will service anyone 21 or older with an ID, no medical card needed, but currently only takes cash.

There is an ATM onsite if anyone needs to make a withdrawal for their purchase, Main Street Hazel Park said.

BREEZE officially hosted its grand opening on February 11, but only serviced medical marijuana patients at the time.

Sunday is the first day it will begin selling recreational products.

Recreational products include cannabis-infused edibles such as Barracuda chocolate bars, brownies and rice crispy treats and Live Resin Carts.

Recreational marijuana became legal when voters passed Proposal 1 in November 2018. The law took effect in December 2019.
