CLIO, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Clio-based cannabis dispensary is gearing up to deliver both medical and recreation marijuana products to your home.

Freddie’s announced Thursday their home delivery service will start April 30 and will be available to Rochester, Lake Orion, Waterford, White Lake, Ortonville, Holly, and other neighboring communities.

Freddie’s says it is the first marijuana shop in the area to offer this level of service for home delivery to customers.

“Our customers love the ease of home delivery and we look forward to serving Oakland County,” Nicole and Barry Goodman, Freddie’s owners said. “Based on the response to Freddie’s delivery service in other areas of Michigan we hope to be providing this service for years to come.”

The marijuana delivery service to Northern Oakland County will run every Thursday. Orders need to be placed two days in advance using the Freddie’s website.

The following information will be required:

• Name
• Address
• Phone number
• Drivers license or State issued identification number or medical marijuana card information

The dispensary says orders must be for $200 or more, and there is no delivery charge.

State mandated limits, 2.5 ounces of marijuana or equivalent product per day, are still in place. The customer placing the order must be the one receiving the order when the delivery is made. Deliveries will be made between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Freddie’s continues to offer curbside and home delivery at their main location 10092 N. Dort Highway, Clio. Home delivery only is still available for Bay City, Big Rapids, Midland, Mt. Pleasant and Saginaw areas.

Freddie’s is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week.
