The man, who admitted to smoking weed several nights a week, recently underwent a needle aspiration with phenylephrine injection to get rid of his 12-hour erection, but he returned to a hospital’s emergency room just two weeks later with another erection that persisted for more than six hours, according to a case study published in the Journal of Cannabis Research last month.
