MASHPEE — The Cape’s only medical marijuana dispensary is now offering curbside service to medical card holders.

But Triple M, on Echo Road, has set some rules. Everyone in a vehicle using the curbside service must be 21 or older and will have to produce identification, with the exception of younger patients or caregivers. Patrons must preorder through the website at mm-ma.org and purchase a minimum of $25 in products.

Those who drive up must use a debit card or CanPay only. Cash will not be accepted.

Curbside service will be available during operating hours, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Walk-ins will continue to be welcome.

The addition of curbside service is “to make it easier for people who want to be extra cautious,” Triple M Chief Financial Officer Kevin O’Reilly said.

There has been an uptick in medical marijuana sales at the company’s dispensaries in Plymouth and Mashpee. O’Reilly attributes the increase to a regulation change that allows patients to qualify for medical marijuana cards via telephone interviews in addition to visits to a doctor’s office.
