The latest medical marijuana report by the Arizona Department of Health Services’ (ADHS) shows that Arizona’s medical marijuana program is booming during the coronavirus (COVID) outbreak. Dispensaries sold a record 18,083 pounds of marijuana (289,329 ounces) in May 2020 as they were deemed essential during the outbreak. Arizona’s legal hemp industry is also thriving.

- Males: 144,282 (58.76%)
- Females: 101,251 (41.24%)
