Jason Barrett, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they found him in possession of commercial grade marijuana.

Reports said that the drug was found in his underwear after he told police that the drug was in his vehicle.

He was taken into custody the intersection of Hardy Avenue and Myrtle Street.

Barrett is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and obstruction.
