Police seized several bags of cannabis after a police chase in Coventry.

A white BMW failed to stop for officers and after a short chase the driver got out of the car and the pursuit continued on foot.

Officers eventually caught up with him and then discovered that the car was not insured, so the BMW was seized along with the cannabis.

The incident happened in Coventry yesterday (May 2).

Writing on Twitter, a West Midlands Police traffic team spokesman said: “This BMW failed to stop for us in Coventry and the driver decamped following a short pursuit.

“He was quickly caught following a foot chase and we found he was in possession of some large bags of cannabis as well as not being insured to drive the car, so it was seized as well.”
