A vehicle has been seized by Thames Valley Police in Tatling End, Gerrards Cross, for being untaxed.

The Skoda Octavia was spotted with police stating it looked ‘suspicious’.

The vehicle had two bald tyres, had been untaxed since 2019, and the driver was in possession of cannabis.

The vehicle was seized, and police posted on twitter that the driver faced ‘a long walk home’.

Driving with a tyre that’s worn can result in a £2,500 fine and three penalty points.

The legal tyre tread depth for cars in the UK and Europe is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre.
