Connecticut State Police seized 420 pounds of marijuana from a UHaul truck on Interstate 95 Friday.

Police said they stopped the truck on I-95 south in Darien around 12:30 p.m. A K9 alerted on the cargo compartment and the Statewide Narcotics Task Force responded.

A search found 420 pounds of marijuana, according to police.

Two people in the truck, 27-year-old Kevin Conrado and 23-year-old Vahe Manjikian, both from Los Angeles, California, were arrested. They were each charged with possession of marijuana and possession of over a kilo of marijuana with intent to sell. They were held on $100,000 bonds.
